From June 29 to 30, 2024, Messezentrum Salzburg will once again be transformed into a paradise for gaming fans of all ages. The fourth edition of the Salzburg gaming festival "LEVEL UP" promises an unforgettable weekend full of games, fun and exciting competitions.
Top events and tournaments
Whether you are a professional or amateur gamer - there is something for everyone at LEVEL UP 2024. Look forward to thrilling eSports tournaments on the Mainstage, where professional teams will demonstrate their skills in games such as Rocket League, League of Legends, Super Smash and Counter-Strike 2. In the Free2Play Area, all visitors can try out the most popular games to their heart's content and compete with new or old friends. In the "Beat The Pro" sessions, on the Community Stage or at Letsplay4Charity, visitors can compete with professionals and raise money for a good cause. There are also numerous activities to take part in on the Raiffeisen Club Community Stage. These include a retro tournament and the LEVEL UP edition of The Amazing Nerdquiz.
Fun for the whole family
The festival is particularly family-friendly: children under the age of 12 are admitted free of charge and there is something for every age group. From retro gaming, real pinball machines, PC games and of course consoles to virtual reality on the latest hardware - LEVEL UP offers everything that makes a gamer's heart beat faster. Children's eyes light up when they discover Super Mario or the heroes of their favorite games in real life among the visitors or can try out the latest games on the Nintendo Switch. Children can discover their talent as racing drivers on the KTM mini bikes and the whole family can marvel at the exhibitors' handiwork and works of art in the Artist Alley.
More than videogames
But that's not all. Immerse yourself in the colorful world of cosplay, try your hand at bubble soccer or test your teamwork and aim at laser tag. There are countless sporting challenges in the Action Area, while the Tabletop & Card Area will delight all strategy and tactics fans. Of course, there will also be plenty to eat and drink: culinary delights from all over the world await you in the Food Area.
The official LEVEL UP afterparty will take place at City Beats on Saturday, June 29 from 22:00. Admission is free for visitors aged 18 and over with the LEVEL UP admission wristband.
