The LEVEL UP Indie Games Area is back!
The Indie Games Area hosted by FH Salzburg has received an upgrade! 600m², 40 individual booths and a networking event for industry professionals create the perfect stage for your games and experiences! This year we have also integrated several streaming setups into the Indie Games Area, where influencers and streamers will try out live indie games to inspire the audience online! Want to be part of the Indie Games Area 2025? We have the right package for you!
For developers
All applicants will be reviewed by a jury. Submissions will be ranked based on the date of submission and chosen package. The final line-up will then be presented and communicated on Tuesday, 27th of May. No 18+ games may be submitted.
Humbled Indies
- What you get:
If you are part of the line-up, youʼll get a booth free of charge and weʼll also include: 1 Desk, 1 PC, 1 Screen, 1 mouse, 1 keyboard, 1 A1 poster up to 2 tickets and access to the networking event on Saturday, the 28th of June from 6pm! - What you don't get:
We canʼt provide any other hardware, e.g. Gamepads, Consoles, or mobile devices. There is also no extra space for rollups, etc.
Independent Indies
You go through the same application process as in the Indie Package but you bring your own PC.
- What you get:
If you are part of the line-up, youʼll get a booth free of charge and weʼll also include: 1 Desk, 1 Screen, 1 A1 poster up to 2 tickets and access to the networking event on Saturday, the 28th of June from 6pm! - What you don't get:
We canʼt provide any other hardware, e.g. Gamepads, Consoles, or mobile devices. There is also no extra space for rollups, etc.

Contains all the above and helps us immensely to bring the Indie Games Area to life!
Also, youʼll skip the application process completely and instantly secure your booth. And thereʼs more still:
- Flyer: Gain even more visibility by adding a flyer to the goodie bags and on-site. For this, 500 flyers must be delivered to Messezentrum Salzburg by May 31.
- More space (Roll-ups): Stand out by bringing your own stuff (roll-up to the area max. 150 x 200cm)
- Networking Event: Ensure exposure at our meetup by displaying for instance a showreel, company profile or open positions! Must be a video (at least 1080p, h264) and shouldnʼt exceed 2 minutes of total playtime per company.
- Social Media: Get exclusive Social Media coverage on the channels from LEVEL UP Salzburg and FH Salzburg.
What exactly do we need from you?
Fill out the application form by May 12 + add a current build. Wait for a response by May 27.
Provide us with your final build by 10th of June!

It's not just a festival; LEVEL UP is an experience that unites the gaming community in the real world. A place where gaming enthusiasts come together to play and share unforgettable moments with friends.
